Lobe Piercing

The earlobe piercing, as its name suggests, is a piercing located on the earlobe, more precisely on the lowest part of the ear to distinguish it from the upper lobe piercing. Whether woman or man, child or older person, this piercing has conquered the world and has transcended the status of just a piercing in people's minds. The lobe piercing is most often adorned with an Earstud or an Earring. Although rarer, the lobe piercing can also be adorned with a Barbell Piercing. We offer Titanium Barbell Piercing and Gold Barbell Piercing in addition to surgical steel. These materials are available for our piercings regardless of their size, which are generally 6 to 8 mm in length and 0.9 to 1.2 mm in thickness for ear studs and barbells.

Lobe Piercing Procedure

The cost of an lobe piercing varies depending on the studio, but is generally between 15 € and 25 € (30€ and 40€ for both ears). It is preferable for the procedure to be carried out with a needle rather than a gun for hygiene and precision reasons. The pain of an earlobe piercing is perceived as low because the lobe is the only part of the ear that does not contain cartilage. The procedure is quick and the risks associated with this intervention are reduced, but this does not prevent the need for proper aftercare. The healing time is 6 to 8 weeks for initial healing, and approximately 6 months for complete healing.
