The venom piercing is a conventional side-by-side and symmetrical double tongue piercing in the middle of the tongue. This piercing is less common than the classic Tongue Piercing. The venom piercing got its name from its shape, which is reminiscent of the fangs of a venomous snake. These 2 piercings typically have a thickness between 1.6 mm and 2 mm and a length ranging from 12 mm to 18 mm for straight bar piercings and between 10 mm and 16 mm for curved bar piercings.
